Literacy Champions Project

Are you passionate about developing children’s literacy? Are you committed to continuous professional development for yourself and others? Would you like access to over 100 literacy resources for children and staff development? Do you have time to complete our free online training modules?

If the answer is yes, then you should sign up today for our Literacy Champions project!
As part of our ongoing commitment to support nurseries and practitioners to deliver high-quality services, NDNA is delivering a Literacy Champions project supported by Department for Education (DfE).

NDNA will support our Literacy Champions with a range of resources to be able to provide their team with the skills they need to improve outcomes for children through literacy.

This support includes:
Free online audit tools
Free online literacy training modules for Literacy Champions
Free online literacy training modules for practitioners
Bank of activities plans for literacy and language through play
Access to diagnostic tools and support materials to develop literacy skills
Monthly webinars on a range of literacy based topics
Networking through an online noticeboard and forum to share ideas and excellent practice ideas with others.

The Literacy Champions project aims to improve literacy outcomes for children and to support individual practitioners to develop their own literacy skills and confidence in order to provide high quality, literacy-rich experiences for all children.

If you're interested in finding out more about this project or would like to join this year's cohort then please contact Fiona Bland at NDNA on 07837 485 015 or contact us.
