NDNA delighted to welcome 31 Barnardo’s operated nurseries as new members
A total of 31 nurseries managed by the UK’s largest children’s charity, Barnardo’s, have become members of the National Day Nurseries Association (NDNA).
Barnardo’s nurseries are located across England and in some parts in Scotland. They provide a range of provisions, from full day-care to holiday clubs and nurseries within children’s centres.
NDNA members benefit from business support, 24-hour legal helplines, discounted training, free annual events, policy updates through bi-weekly e-newsletters and a bi-monthly magazine and much more.
Members also receive high quality training and support from the NDNC so that young children are given the confidence and social skills to prepare them well for later life. It also lays the foundations for success in reading, writing and maths.
Purnima Tanuku OBE, Chief Executive of NDNA, said: “It’s fantastic to have Barnardo’s on board. We are looking forward to working together and forging a productive relationship.”
Barnardo’s Chief Executive, Javed Khan, said: “We are thrilled that the nurseries we manage are now members of the National Day Nurseries Association. It is vital that all children, including the most vulnerable are given the best possible start in life so we are delighted to be working with the NDNA to achieve this.”
Halie Ann Headley, National Membership Manager, has met with the charity to look at bespoke support for them, a key benefit of group membership.
