What will I learn?

This NDNA childcare course will give you the confidence to help children with their drama, dancing and singing. You will discuss activities using colours and textures that are so vital for children’s learning and development.

  • The importance of the characteristics of effective learning in relation to EAD
  • The difference between intrinsic and extrinsic motivation
  • Experimenting with time, space, colour, texture, form and function
  • Providing stimulating experiences for developing creativity and imagination
  • The difference between process art and product led art 
  • Best practice examples for storytelling, design provocations, drama, music, technology and sensory explorations.
