NDNA Day Nursery of the Year is supported by Hope Education.
After being named as the winner for the North of England, Kinder Haven Ltd, located in Bradford went forward to be named as the prestigious holder of the UK award on 19 June 2008. Judges praised the setting for its commitment to developing quality and partnerships with parents and the local community as a whole.
Regional and national winners were also awarded on the evening as follows:
- Scotland: Lecropt Nursery, Stirling
- South of England: Advantage Day Nursery, Surbiton
- Central England: Phoenix Day Nursery, Essex
- Wales: The Rose Garden Day Nursery, Swansea.
