I am a parent

When you choose a nursery for your child, you want to be sure you’re making the right choice.

If your child is settled, having fun and learning important new skills, as well as learning how to socialise with other children, you can relax and get on with your day, confident that they’re in good hands.

You’ll find answers to some of the most commonly asked questions in our FAQ section. It’s regularly updated with issues our members are facing now.

What are the benefits of your child attending nursery?

Studies have shown that children who attend nurseries are more confident, as they socialise with other children from an early age and also go on to do better at school. Great nurseries work hard to help your child have a great start in life. They will guide and support your child through their first steps into literacy, maths, understanding the world and expressive arts and design.

The ‘key person approach' gives your child one main carer who helps them feel safe, secure and ready to learn and understand about the world around them. Plus you’ll have one key person who understands your child, and can tell you all about their progress each day. View our factsheets on 'choosing the right nursery for you child here.
