About the National Day Nurseries Association (NDNA)

At NDNA, we don’t just provide nursery membership, lobby government and offer training, we are dedicated to making a difference.

We are a charity that believes in quality and sustainability so we put our members’ businesses at the very heart of ours. We enhance, support, nurture, cherish and challenge. Our innovative thinking gives your nursery the edge, an advantage that makes it the best it can be.

Quite simply, we are the people behind the people who educate, and champion the best for our children.

Welcome to NDNA. You’ve arrived in a very special place...

We are the voice of the UK nursery sector and hold governments in Westminster, Cardiff and Edinburgh to account and have influenced policy on everything from business costs to qualifications and better investment in early years.

Our children matter. Join us and help us champion their futures and support our campaign for fair funding for the early years sector.

  • NDNA Wales We contribute to policy development and guidance, provide support to nurseries in Wales and have a team in Ruthin.
  • NDNA international We help childcare settings across the world excel by passing on our knowledge and training.

Training and quality

NDNA trains thousands of early years and childcare practitioners every year. We offer childcare training courses to early years settings, individual practitioners and local authorities.

Our courses and quality improvement programme, Quality Counts, are designed and delivered by highly experienced and qualified early years experts. They are all up to date, reflecting best practice, the latest policy and legislation.
