Coronavirus / COVID-19 testing for early years practitioners in England

We believe that all early years providers (in England) should have the same access to testing kits whether they work in the PVI or maintained sector, do you?

Recently Tulip Siddiq, the Shadow Children and Early Years Minister, asked Vicky Ford, the Children and Families Minister, how many home testing kits have been supplied to early years settings.

Vicky Ford responded saying that: ‘all schools, including primary schools with nurseries and local authority-maintained nurseries have received an initial batch of home testing kits’.

We say #TestAllEarlyYearsWorkers!

If you agree that all early years workers should get equal priority to COVID-19 tests, regardless of whether they work in a PVI or maintained setting, please help us by spreading the word and lobby your MP.

Four things you can do right now to help

1. Share our video on social media with #TestAllEarlyYearsWorkers, let's spread the word. Even better, tag your MP or email them a link. You can find your local MP's details here.

2. Take our social media polls on LinkedIn and Twitter - so we have hard data to take to government on what the sector thinks.

3. Join NDNA as a member so we are one united voice.

4. If you are already a member, join your free local NDNA Network to provide a united voice with fellow providers in your area, to your local MP and government.
