New survey for all nurseries in Wales pilot areas

NDNA Cymru is collecting data on the new 30-hours pilot areas in Wales. If your setting is within one of these areas - Anglesey, Blaenau Gwent, Caerphilly, Flintshire, Gwynedd, Rhondda Cynon Taf and Swansea - please take five minutes to fill in these few simple questions. This is for ALL nurseries, both members and non-members, not just those currently participating in the pilot. Please take the survey by Sunday 29 October.

New Childcare Statutory Guidance in Wales

NDNA Cymru has worked with the Welsh Government to publish new Childcare Statutory Guidance for Local Authorities to carry out their duties in relation to providing sufficient childcare and information for parents. 

Current Hepatitis A Outbreak affecting Caerphilly CBC, Rhondda Cynon Taf CBC and Merthyr Tydfil CBC.

 As hepatitis A is spread from person to person, the single most important thing people can do to prevent the virus spreading is to ensure they use good hand washing techniques after using the toilet. Good hand-washing technique entails using liquid soap with hot and cold or appropriately mixed running water with effective hand drying facilities, preferably paper towels.
