Coronavirus and your nursery

The latest government advice is that anyone who has travelled from certain places and have symptoms must isolate themselves for 14 days and seek medical advice. Children and staff in this situation should not come into nursery.

Members of the Scottish Parliament (MSPs) have voted to keep nationwide business rate relief schemes like those currently given to nurseries. The votes were held on the Non-Domestic Rates (Scotland) Bill.

The Welsh assembly has passed a law to prevent the physical punishment of children. The legislation is expected to come into force from 2022, following an awareness campaign.
