NDNA International Dubai event a big success 

NDNA International held a successful event this week in Dubai with nurseries from United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Bahrain attending.

Sponsored by Hope Education, the event: NDNA International: Going Global and Make a Success of the EYFS Conference, took place in Dubai on 13 March.

was an unmissable, free session aimed at nursery owners, operators, investors and potential investors contemplating acquiring or investing in a nursery business in the UK.

Topics covered included an overview of the UK day nursery market, demographics, demand and supply in specific UK locations, structure of acquisitions and sales, considerations for sustainability and other hot sector topics. 

They also learned Top 10 Tips for expansion into the UK.
Speakers were NDNA's Chief Executive Purnima Tanuku OBE and Courteney Donaldson of Christie and Co.

Make a Success of the EYFS 

Make a Success of the EYFS
was the title of the second session in which delegates could get the latest advice from an Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ rated nursery in the UK on how they implement two key areas of the EYFS, including the fundamental role of the key person in delivering the EYFS, and how this leads to high quality delivery. Linda Baston-Pitt from Old School House Nursery is pictured right.

This free session gave practical, best practice examples and advice around what the curriculum looks and feels like in practice, with resources and advice on how it can be successfully implemented, and how high quality provision can be achieved and maintained.
