What will I learn?

Delegates will explore current understanding and knowledge about attachment theory and how to support key worker approaches in an early years setting.

Key topics

  • Recognise ways in which positive attachment relationships are supported through implementation of the Care Inspectorate’s Health and Social Care Standards (2017)
  • Understand the important role of the key worker in supporting young children’s experience of secure attachment
  • Understand possible reasons why attachments may not be secure 
  • Recognise elements of practice which contribute to positive attachments.

Prices are based on up to 16 delegates (we recommend 10 as a minimum). A small extra charge applies for extra delegates. You will receive a certificate of attendance to demonstrate your ongoing professional development.
