Support the sector in improving outcomes for children by coaching an early years professional
National Day Nurseries Association (NDNA) is looking for a selection of early years leaders to provide coaching to improve outcomes for children in nurseries, for the Mayor of London's Early Years Leaders Programme.
Who are you looking for?
We are looking for leaders across London to provide coaching to early years professionals. You would help them improve their childcare business and practice.
You must be part of an early years setting, be it a pre-school, childminding service, nursery or other childcare service, with good or outstanding from Ofsted. You must also have three or more years experience as a leader in the early years sector.
What does the programme involve?
During the programme coaches and early years professionals will have access to networking events, training and an online platform with information and ongoing support.
As a coach you will get access to two days of face to face training between April and May 2019 and then termly networking events and coach planning days (travel to a central London venue is required).
As a coach you will identify any learning needs of your early years professional participants to improve upon through local training provision.
What do I gain as a coach?
As a coach you will be imparting your knowledge and experience to a less-experienced early years professional. You will be a key part in improving the outcomes for the children in their setting. You will also receive £150 per day for your support to the sector.
